Born in Scotland, Sharifa always loved to sing and recite poetry. At primary school she joined the school choir. At secondary school, she and and two other girls formed a singing group with two brothers, Lawrence and Chris Lecky (Scratchy Fingers) who played drum and bass. Having written poetry until then, Princess Sharifa began writing songs. In 1985 she joined Jah Foundation band and her career was on the way. Sharifa has recorded with Ariwa Studio and is presently recording for Twinkle Studio. She has toured Europe, Africa and America and now resides in Uganda, Africa.

Errol.T. (E.T.) Webster was born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, but grew up and attended school in Montego Bay, including Cornwall College. His musical career began in the 60's singing in the Yellowbird Nightclub with Billy Vernon and the Celestials in Montego Bay. E.T. is a stalwart in the Jamaica hotel circuit, and has earned the honor of Singer of the Year several times. He has toured extensively, performed on all major events in Jamaica, had many hit songs on the charts, and is loved by fans throughout the world. Not only is he an artist on the Twinkle label, but also a boyhood friend of Norman and Ralston Grant. Of his many albums, four are on the Twinkle label. He currently resides in Montego Bay, Jamaica. |

In the time-honored tradition, Lorna Asher served her apprenticeship by taking part in school and church choirs, then onto local and national talent competitions. This lead to the release of her first single on Ariwa label. During this time she also joined a female trio named African Pearl. Lorna was later fortunate to make contact with Norman Grant of the Twinle Brothers. This lead to the release of her album, Straight to Your Heart. Lorna Asher was born in Jamaica, and currently resides in London, England.

One of the most versatile and talented artist, producer and song writer, Barry Isaacs was born in Portland, Jamaica. It was there he discovered his love for music. Having moved to England, he became an operator of a large sound system. This lead to the formation of his band, Ras Issac and the Rases. In 1979 Barry began recording under the name Barry Isachar, releasing a number of hits. Gaining popularity in various countries, he became known as Barry Issac, being born in August. In addition to his many other releases, One of the Emperor's Son, is available on the Twinkle label.

.K.D. Levi was born in Clarendon, Jamaica, Moco district. He came to England at the age of 13. He has many deeply conscious recordings. K.D. Levi linked up with Twinkle Studio and has recorded three albums on that label. K.D. Levi presently resides in Wolverhampton, England.

Born in London, England, Sista Rebekah took her first steps into the music world by backing various artists in 1993. During that time she recorded tracks for I 'n' I Oneness sound, as well as Jah Movement and Dread Lion Studio. In 1996 she started working with Twinkle, recording the 12" single, Humble Lion. It was released in 1997, followed by her debut album, African Heartbeat. This was followed by her first live band performance in Leeds, alongside Della Grant, E.T. Webster and Twinkle Brothers. Her goal is to uplift and enlighten people with her music. She currently resides in London.

Santana (born Steve Santana Campbell) is a superb lyricist/singer and performer who is creating a stir in the UK with his second album, Heavily Protected on the Twinkle label. He was born in England, but lived in Trelawny, Jamaica the majority of his life. He attended school in Falmouth and graduated from William Knibb High School. His career began in 1987 when he opened a show at an annual fair for Papa San, and a young Patra. He currently has two albums on the Twinkle label. In 1993 he was introduced to Twinkle through his school friend and son of Norman Grant. Santana believes that 'who controls the mind, controls the people,' which he attempts to do through his music. He presently resides in England.

.A London native, Sista Allison (born Allison Mason)is a well-rounded, versatile woman. Not only is she a recording artist, she is also a popular radio host, as well as an accomplished actress and mother. In 1993 she joined the harmony group, Ebony Hites; in 1994 she accepted the role of Vinette in the acclaimed play, Bups 2, while also recording her debut album, Wailing, on the Twinkle label. She's done a great deal of session work with Lion Music studio and Barry Issacs' Reggae on Top studio. She currently resides in Brixton.

Born in Falmouth, Jamaica Philip I (born Philip Parkison) was from a family of talented singers. He attended local schools and sang in various school choirs and church events. Philip recorded early with Twinkle Brothers at Channel One and Harry J studios in the 1970's. Those recordings will soon be available on his upcoming album on the Twinkle label. It once again reinforces the fact that music is timeless. Philip left Jamaica in the 80's and relocated to New York, where he was given the name Philip I. He is featured on Twinkle's Age of Reggae-Various Artist LP.
